Downsizing
In 2011 I downsized from my 2-bedroom, 1-bath house to a tiny house on wheels while I was getting my Masters of Urban and Regional Planning. Since then I’ve lived in all sorts of small spaces and helped hundreds of other people live well in their spaces, too.

Maybe you’re downsizing for a really fun reason - like you’re retiring or your kids have successfully flown the nest. Maybe it’s more practical - like you’re going through a divorce or you can’t maintain (or afford) a bigger space anymore. Whatever your reasons, downsizing can be a big transition, but it can also be empowering and even inspiring! I’ve lived in dozens of small spaces and I’ve helped hundreds of other people on their downsizing journeys. I’m looking forward to helping you, too!
I can help you go through your tangible things and make choices about what to keep and what to intentionally rehome. I can also help you figure out how to rehome items responsibly through selling, gifting, or donating. There’s often some overlap between Downizing and Personal Organizing, but this choice is the right one for you if you are deliberately purging items.
